What is EFT?

The Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is also known as ‘Tapping’, is an extraordinary technique used to resolve traumatic memories, event and issues quickly and effectively including emotional and physical problems. It re-balances the body’s energy system.

EFT has been described as ‘acupuncture for emotions, without needles’. It has its roots in ancient Chinese medicine.

What is EFT exactly?

Let us discuss what is EFT?

EFT is a form of alternative psychology that is based on the fact that negative emotions are caused by imbalances in the body’s energy field. To rebalance your body and resolve the negative emotions that are connected to events, you focus on the emotion or issue to be treated and then tap on points on the body to neutralize the emotion so the body can help heal itself.

This process, which may even seem ‘too simple’ to work, has a very powerful neutralising affect when it comes to treating negative emotions of any kind, be it anxiety, depression, phobias, traumas.

Many emotional problems that previously had to be treated during months or years of work using conventional psychotherapy or psychology can be reduced or eliminated in a few sessions by EFT. If all of the trauma has been released then the healing is permanent for that event.

A Holistic Therapy:

This is a holistic therapy that incorporates the body and the mind at the same time, since, unlike other therapies, it is essential to be mentally focused on the event and feeling to be treated, while physically stimulating the energy points.

EFT is an emotional management tool. With EFT you can relieve stress, sadness, anger, and lot more. This holistic and natural way of working facilitates and quickens emotional relief.

EFT is the tool that, in practice, has made a difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world, allowing us to stop fearing and suffering negative emotions and worsening our mental health.
