What is Tapping?

Although there are many treatments for all types of mental illnesses that have shown some form of help, we still face ailments that can be very serious and are not easy to overcome. Depression, for example, affects approximately 15% of the population. With fast paced lives and more pressures in the workplace and in life, there is a need for treatments that actually help you to release and resolve your traumas, instead of talking about them and finding ways to maintain how you feel. Using EFT Tapping, can help you resolve issues leading to depression, while you are feeling stressed when flying, or struggling to lose weight. Tapping is a unique and versatile technique that is simple and quick to use. You will start seeing results in even a few minutes.

What is Tapping?

Here I will break down what is tapping? It can be said that tapping intervenes directly on emotion through the body’s energy system. It is a kind of emotional acupuncture without needles, with acupressure. Hence, it is popularly known as “tapping”, which means to tap gently with your fingers.

Tapping is a soft and natural emotional management technique. It helps you to naturally and simply “let go” of emotional discomfort. Tapping will also help to change your perspective of the issue or event so that we can look at it with distance and feel more able to handle it. When tapping changes our thoughts and emotions, it also changes our actions.

Tapping is accessible to everyone and is so easy to do that even children can apply it to themselves (or with the help of an adult if they are younger) and use it in their daily life to reduce stresses.

Advantages of EFT:

  • Quick results
  • Easy to learn
  • Tap on yourself or on your children
  • Soft, non-invasive technique
  • Cost-effective – you need less sessions to resolve your traumas compared to other therapies where you spend thousands and continue going for years

This is how EFT can help you, not only to generate emotional changes but also cognitive and behavioral changes. To find out more about What is Tapping?
