Mindfulness and EFT (also known as tapping) go hand in hand. Mindfulness, the art of being present and not thinking about the past or the future can be tricky to do. We all have traumas in our life that come up from time to time so to be able to use mindfulness, we need to resolve and release these issues through the use of EFT.
With this in mind, EFT applies a method of restoring the natural balance of our bodies. This gives us access to greater possibilities of emotional and physical well-being, creative expression, clarity of thought and everyday mindfulness.
EFT has its roots in ancient Chinese medicine and in modern therapeutic approaches such as Applied Kinesiology. Gary Craig had the idea of taking a basic set of points, tapping on these points in an easy to learn technique. It was developed in the 90’s and is widely used and accepted in mindfulness practices as well as among psychologists, psychiatrists and other therapists around the world.
Benefits of EFT techniques:
EFT can be applied very safely by anyone who knows the technique. Even people without theoretical knowledge of the basics of EFT get results by applying it to all kinds of everyday situations, emotional or physical.
Therapists can make enormous advances in their results by introducing EFT in their therapeutic procedures. Instead of taking months or years of conventional “talking therapies,” EFT often works quickly and effectively in one or two sessions. On many occasions, very important changes even take place in a few minutes which creates a sense of peace and mindfulness.
Because all our health disorders (be they physical, mental or emotional) correlate with the underlying emotional trauma that generally started a pattern before the age of 7. EFT is widely accepted all over the world, in workplaces and in schools. There are thousands of people have already experienced effective mindfulness by using EFT to help resolve their traumatic events. It has a growing community of practitioners and trainers who continue to contribute their experiences and testimonies about the wonders that occur.
