Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar disorder is a type of mental illness marked by extreme mood swings. People suffering from bipolar disorder can also experience bouts of depression and volatility. It is estimated that about 2.8% of the adult population suffer from bipolar disorder. The mood swings experienced are more intense and it makes it hard to do day to day tasks. People suffering from bipolar disorder often move between periods of depression and happy emotions. Bipolar disorder can be treated by different therapies and modalities. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is commonly used for treating bipolar disorders.

Symptoms of Bipolar Disorder

People suffering from bipolar disorders can experience an emotional high. In such conditions, they can feel excited, happy, impulsive, euphoric etc. They also experience depression which can last for a long time. Diagnosis of bipolar disorders can be difficult due to varied symptoms. Women suffering from bipolar disorders are more likely to relapse again due to hormonal changes.

Treating Bipolar Disorder Using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT has been known to be effective for treating bipolar disorder. By finding the root cause of how the bipolar disorder started, we can effectively resolve the underlying issues so that the body can return to a state of balance.

Use of EFT for treating bipolar disorders leads to a faster resolution of emotional upsets and mood swings before they get out of control. It also resolves strong and overwhelming feelings when they arise. It reduces or resolves anxious feelings which are common in bipolar disorders. Tapping is also known to be effective for resolving the old traumatic and overwhelming feelings and ensure they are no longer triggered which can lead to a bipolar disorder. EFT sessions can change the negative and distorted memories and feelings that contribute towards eliciting responses that may trigger bipolar disorder. Tapping enhances the knowledge and awareness of the feelings and the incidents that correspond to these feelings which in turn increases their abilities to resolve mood swings and achieve a state of peace and balance. EFT is completely safe and free from any side effects for treatment of bipolar disorders.
