The underlying principle of CBT is that it helps the patients to reframe and develop more positive and better response. Mental disorders result from the manner in which people interpret stressful conditions and stimuli and their response mechanism. This therapy aims at improving the interpretation of the stressful conditions and helping to frame positive response mechanisms. Under this therapy, the therapist and the patient work actively towards treating the mental disorder. CBT offers plenty of benefits like helping the patients to control negative thoughts and also transform negative thoughts into positive ones. It also helps the patients to control their. This therapy helps them to control their anger and achieve inner peace and calmness. CBT sessions help the patients to learn better techniques to communicate their feelings to others and develop healthy relationships. CBT also assists the patients to deal with such situations and stimuli in a better manner. It equips them to respond to in a different manner than how they responded in the past and approach it with calmness and peace.

 

 

Benefits of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

A significant advantage of EFT therapy is that it is completely natural and safe. EFT is a natural alternative treatment therapy which does not have any undesirable side-effects. EFT does not involve regular visits to the doctor or taking costly drugs or medicines. This means that it is highly cost-effective compared to other forms of therapies. EFT is a portable treatment therapy which can be done anytime and anywhere. Patients suffering from mental disorders can practise tapping whenever they feel the surge of negative and overwhelming feelings which trigger the disorder. A major benefit of EFT tapping is that it produces quick results. Simple phobias can be treated in one tapping session only and more complicated mental disorders like post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) can be treated generally between 5-10 sessions. EFT is known to provide better results.

How EFT is Better than CBT

 

Although the benefits of CBT are well documented, studies have revealed that less than 50% of the clients recover by the end of therapy sessions.

EFT is a research-driven therapy which has shown highly effective results in treatment of emotional and physical disorders. Compared to CBT for treatment of depression, EFT has shown better results.
