When working with children, it is essential to work with the parents too to ensure that the health and wellbeing of all family members are looked after. This is because we all have a history of events, traumas and triggers of our own. The more we resolve our own issues through tapping or theta, the happier we will be and in return the more relaxed our children will be which increases the health and wellbeing of the whole family.
Children are sensitive to our emotions and are able to easily pick up on them even if we are trying to hide them. My own example is that my son used to frustrate me in the morning when he took so long to get ready for school. Even if I was talking to him in a calm voice, he could still feel my frustration. By tapping on this incident, I no longer feel frustrated when he is taking so long to get ready this has increased our health and wellbeing. Also, by tapping in front of your children they will see that this is a great practice and habit to adopt that will increase their own health and wellbeing.
